Susan Kaiser Vogel continues to develop studies of light and space in photographic media, while working and residing in New York State's Hudson Valley. 

 

Although circumstances have kept her within the four walls of her home, she has never stopped observing and registering the light.

 

Her recent work is very simple and intimate: it consists of several thousand photographs of sky and light phenomena that occur every day out of her window, which overlooks the majestic Hudson River and the Highlands to the East.
